Slate Shingles
This type of shingle is used very prevalently in the Northeastern states as the rock is quarried there but they are also found in the Western states including California. These shingles are able to stand the tests of time with their durability as well as their beauty. The slate shingles will also last about 50 years when they are well taken care of.
